Robert C. Hedlund, 78, of West Duluth, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Born in Duluth on Aug. 5, 1924, to Clifford and Hildur Leslie Hedlund, he had attended the Kate Barnes School and was a 1943 graduate of Denfeld High School. Bob had worked in the office at Diamond Tool & Horseshoe Co., Moland Trucking and later was Office Manager and Treasurer of the former Odberg and Ryan Lincoln-Mercury dealership, retiring in 1999. He was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, and served as its Treasurer for many years. Bob enjoyed fishing and spending time at the cabin. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother John. He is survived by his foster brother Robert (Marilyn) Gravelle of Duluth; foster nephew Robert Gravelle of Robbinsdale, Minn.; foster nieces Lynn Cozad of Cottage Grove, Minn., and Renee Woodstock in Florida; many cousins. VISITATION: 11 a.m. until the 12 Noon service Friday at the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity. Burial at Oneota Cemetery. Arrangements by Williams-Lobermeier Funeral Home.

Allan and I extend our sympathy to the family and friends of Bob. I have many fond memories of working side by side with Bob in the bookkeeping dept. of my dad's Lincoln Mercury dealerships both in Superior, WI and Duluth, MN.
