I didn´t formally meet Bob until a few years ago. I knew about him for decades. But the timing was only right when we did finally meet. The event was his grandson´s graduation. The smile on his face conveyed to me regard and love. I watched him interact with everyone there. I watched him play with the kids. He was full of joy and love. He was the dad I would have chosen for my daughter; the daughter whose arrival on this earth can at a time when I was unprepared for motherhood. His wife, Joellen, was there. We embraced each other. Many tears flowed, as did an abundance of love. I felt a peace that I didn´t know I was looking for. Thank you both for letting love flow through you so completely. I´m sure when Bob arrived at the pearly gates God said to him, "Job well done my son". God´s providence is impeccable!

Bob and my late husband, Gary had a special bond. They were brother-in-laws, but it was evident they loved and enjoyed each other's company. We traveled together quite often. I have many fond memories of our trips and the close relationship we all had. Bob and Gary liked to play jokes on each other. On one of our motorhome trips, Bob presented Gary with an "orange leisure suit". He said you can wear it when you do motorhome repairs. Of course, considering the color of it and style, Gary looked like a "Jailhouse Escapee". We all got a good laugh out of that one! I am sure Gary was there waiting for Bob and welcoming him to our heavenly home.
