Seth Chad Spencer, age 47, of Utah, passed away on September 7th, 2025.
He was born January 14, 1978, in Ogden, Utah, to Darlene Filban and the late John Earl Spencer. Seth lived in Ogden for most of his life, though he also spent five years in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Seth was a proud father to his daughters, Bostyn Raina Spencer and Laurelin Raye Spencer, who were the joy of his life.
He attended Clearfield High School, Seth lettered in track and carried his determination and energy into every part of his life. He later attended culinary school at the Art Institute, where he refined his natural talents as a chef. Seth worked in many restaurants throughout his career and was known as an excellent chef and an amazing home cook.
He loved the outdoors and had a passion for hiking and snowboarding. He worked at Powder Mountain and Snowbasin, where he shared his love for the mountains with others.
