In Loving Memory of Robert Lee Holloway

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert Lee Holloway, of Mt. Airy, Maryland, on September 9, 2025, at the age of 60.

Born in Havre de Grace, MD, Robert was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Connie Holloway and the proud founder of Robert's Tree Service, which he successfully built and ran for many decades. He took great pride in his work; his commitment and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Connie; sister Shirley Gibbs Hogarth and brothers William M. Holloway and Calvin E. Holloway; many cousins, nieces, nephews, stepchildren and other dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Grace and William Holloway, and sisters Mary Holloway and Flora Cochran.

Robert faced life's challenges-including a courageous battle with cancer-with remarkable resilience and a sense of humor that never wavered. Outside of his tree work, he loved playing pool, hunting, poker and cards, camping, cheering for the Washington Commanders, and calling friends just to talk and share a laugh.

His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends whose lives he touched in countless ways. Robert's passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who loved him, yet his memory will remain a treasure.

Two Celebrations of Life will be held:

• Saturday, October 4, at 1:00 PM – Jarrettsville, MD (Contact Family for Details)

• Saturday, October 11, at 11:00 AM – The Morgan Inn located in Woodbine, MD
