Dear Grace, Hunter and baby Rose,
I hope you still remember me. I was once a babysitter to Hunter and Baby Rose and a caregiver to your mom Rose Iacono. I remember Grace and Dr. Iacono as very down to earth couple. Thank you for everything. I was saddened to learn of Dr. Iacono's passing in 2007. I became a nurse now and my mom and my kids are now living here with me in California. My deepest Condolences to your Family.

So sorry to learn of Bobby's passing. Although I did not have the pleasure of knowing Bob as an adult, we were best buddies while attending Mary Star of the Sea Elementary School from first grade until the end of fifth grade. We had great times at his hillside home, swimming, Halloween Trick-or-treating, biking the hills and just hanging out together. I recall his mom making the best lunchtime sandwiches and his Dad always there to pick me up or take me back to my San Pedro home. So sad we did not keep up after I moved away. Sounds like we would have been great friends as adults.

Dear Dr. Iacono's Family,
We are deeply saddened for your great loss. Dr. Bob is lovingly remembered, and we treasured his friendship. His compassion, concern, genious, inspiration, optimism and his passion to help everyone in need were always present. We are grateful that he was in our lives. He gave Joe Sr. 6 more years with us to the present. Tomorrow Joe will be 83. We would have attended the service if we had known about it. We wish to stay in touch with you. We are praying for all of you. Our sincere sympathy.

Dear Mrs. Iacono & Family,
Our hearts go out to you at this time, as we have just heard of Dr. Iacono's tragic death. He will be sadly missed by many, especially the Parkinson's Community. He performed my double pallidotomy in 1994. Without it, I probably would not be alive today. Dr. Iacono was a very unique man, with a great sense of humor and an amazing intelligence. He had a very special relationship with each of his patients and their families. We will miss him and know that many others will as well. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you face this sad loss. Just know that we will have a great reunion in Heaven!

There are no words to convey my deepest regrets;
Doctor Iacono was always my strength.
We (Parkinson's Support Group of Antelope Valley) looked forward to his insightful and inspiring lectures as well as his
circling the tower as he flew out of the airport. The largest meeting room available was always needed to accommodate the tremendous attendance he drew. He gave us hope and encouragement.
We have lost a Giant.

Bob, You were a colleague I will always remember. Best of all, you were a fellow pilot who understood the "cost of doing business in the skies".
Thanks for being a mentor both in medicine and in life. You will remain in my thoughts, best wishes to your family.

Dear Grace, Hunter & Rose,
Our hearts hurt for you and your immense loss. Through each hand that reaches out to you God shows his love and care. Bob was such a pleasure to have met. We will treasure always the time we spent together and the warmth of his laughter and the glint in his eyes. Listening to him talk about the book he was writing instilled the desire to know more about what was in his mind. Looking forward to seeing you again one day soon. What a joy it will be in that great reunion with our Father to have the circle completed once again. We love you.

Dr Iacono was truly a gifted surgeon. I was his first outpatient brain surgery in 1994. He and God together literally worked a miracle and saved my life. I had surgery in '94, '95, & 2000 and now 7 years after the last procedure I still have no tremor or dyskensia. I have had Parkinson's for 19 years. We lost a remarkable caring man that was always there for me. We are so sorry for your families loss and we will all miss him.

Dear Grace, Hunter, and Rose,
I can't begin to know how much you must be hurting, but my heart is deeply saddened by the death of your husband and father. I was looking forward to getting to know all of you better. Dr. Iacono was so generous with helping me when I talked with him about my sinus infection. I will be praying for you always, because forever is still not long enough to mend a broken heart.

Dear Iacono family: Word of the loss of Dr. Iacono is deeply personal for me. For the several years I was a patient of his in Redlands, I was touched by his compassion, amused by his confident personality and helped physically by his care. I grieve with Dr. Oh, the children and his father, and you are in my prayers. He was certainly gifted, unique, and extra special. Heaven's gain is our loss.

My heart and prayers go out to Grace, Robert and Rose. I assisted Dr many times in the operating room at St Bernardines. He was a very kind man who always strived to do better for his patients. I know how much he loved his family, his medicine, and flying. He was a great surgeon and I feel honored to know this truely special man.

Dr. Iacono was always available for my parents as my father's PD progressed. Aside from being a brilliant scientist and surgeon, he was foremost a caring, compassionate, and empathetic man.
The only greater tragedy of his early loss would be if he had never been with us at all.

I am so saddened, Grace. Bob was my advisor, my sounding board, my hunting and fishing companion, and my teacher. Most of all, he was my friend. I shall remember always his smiling face and bright eyes, his boundless enthusiasm and selflessness. I shall miss him very much.

Our prayers are with Dr. Iacono's family, especially his remarkable father and good friend, Paul. I saw Dr. Iacono perform his famous surgical procedure live on ABC's 20-20 many years ago. He was a gifted physician who helped improve the lives of so many.

Dear Grace and the Iacono Family:
My deepest regrets on your recent loss. My prayers are with you. Bob and I were high school buddies and grew up in the same neighborhood. There are many happy memories of those years. I will always remember the exciting morning rides to Miraleste High School in Bob's open red Jeep! I am so proud of Bob and all he accomplished, both personally and in the medical profession. I knew when we were young that Bob was going to achieve great things in his lifetime. Good bye, old friend.

My sister and I went to Miraleste High School with Bob and I remember him as a funny and caring young man. It was a great pleasure to have known him, and I have followed his accomplishments through the years. The world is a sadder place without him; we will all miss him. He was a good and kind man.

Dear Grace, I am Loretta's husband and I talked to Bob a few times at the office in Redlands, I found him to be a super nice guy, down to earth, very brilliant in his profession, very dedicated to helping people in need. I am stunned and very saddened by his going, I know he loved to fly and his love for nature, open space, mountains, hunting, fishing. He was a super guy and I will miss him a lot. Grace, be strong, my thoughts are with you and your children. Love. Guy Lagarde.
