When I began my IT career at South Hills Computer Center in 1980 I had the good fortune of sitting next to Bob. He was my mentor who taught me a great deal about computer programming and always had my back. I will be forever grateful to him. He was a person with high integrity, honesty and perhaps a bit of a temper which only made him more endearing. He was not only an intense co-worker and great teacher, he was also a great friend. We shared many great times and laughs on the golf course as well as the local establishments. Any time I tell old Bob Cornell stories it is always with a smile on my face and fond memories. He will be sadly missed! My deepest condolences to Sally and Bobs family!
