Robert Jacobs, 96, of Cheshire, CT, devoted husband of 65 years to Barbara Jacobs, passed away on June 13th surrounded by his family. Born in New Haven on May 14, 1927, he was the son of the late Hyman and Frances Jacobs. Bob was the proud father of his sons, Paul and Philip, and daughter Karen. His four grandchildren Aaron, Amanda, Olivia, and Valerie were so cherished by him. He worked as a Bail Bondsman for over 50 years and was so grateful to work with his two sons. He was loved by all who met him and everywhere he went, someone recognized him! The most selfless, generous, and caring person. He will be missed immensely.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 15th, at B'Nai Jacob Memorial Park, Wintergreen Ave., New Haven. Memorial contributions may be sent to the charity of one's choice. A period of mourning will be observed at the Jacobs home at 15 Wildlife Court, Cheshire following the service on Thursday, June 15th, until 8:00 p.m, Friday, June 16th, from 1:00-4:00, and Sunday, June 18th, from 1:00-4:00.
