Through the years, my parents, Jack and Florence Gaynor, would talk about a very young cousin Bob who was the ring bearer at their wedding. He never forgot.

As a young child I attended a holiday party at the home of cousins Jack and Sally Jaffe, Bob’s parents. After finishing his route on a Good Humor ice cream bicycle vehicle, he came into the house and directed all of us younger cousins in various fun activities.

When I was 12 yrs old, I attended Bob and Evie’s wedding, a beautiful event, with lifelong memories.

As a young married, I had difficulty having children; called Bob and he referred me to a colleague in NYC. I now have 3 beautiful, accomplished adult children.

And one of my children had problems having children, called Cousin Bob, and was referred to a Toronto doctor that Bob had trained. We now have 2 beautiful, bright grandchildren, 13 and 14 years old.

As a person, he was so unassuming and truly was one of a kind. He made a life-changing difference in all of our lives. It is an understatement to say he will be missed.
