In memory of
Michael and Jacqueline Ricks
June 30, 2004
Several years ago we were a newly married couple and moved into our first house next door to Bob and his family in Brooklyn Park. Bob had the type of personality that immediatly put you at ease and he went out of his way to make us feel welcome. We are saddened by his passing and extend our sympathies to his wife and children.
It is people like Bob who make the world a little bit brighter.

Bob will be missed by the Parks and Recreation department at the City of Plymouth where he was an enthusiastic volunteer. He signed up to help survey the City's trails, and he added his own special touch to the project by riding his bike. He was very detailed and embraced the project wholeheartedly. I will always have a fond memory of Bob riding his bike on the trails as he volunteered.

I always thought there would be one more fishing trip and one more golf outing. Those are great memories that won't fade away. I'm always greatful for every single day and I play it like it's the last one.
Take good care of each other and we'll see you soon.

I went all through grade and high school with Bob. He was also usher in our wedding. I remember Bob as just a fine man and friend. After high school we left the state on a military career and regretfully kind of lost touch. All our best wishes for you.

In my position of Staff Development at Crystal Care Center, I had the pleasure of having Bob be my "private" volunteer as I referred to him. The task involved paperwork, but Bob made it a challenge for both of us ! We got a routine down, and he plugged right thru all the logging of information. He supported me with many hours of logging information that really saved my time at work ! As time went along, the coffee cup was ready and filled waiting for him on his promised day to volunteer for me. Before you knew it, lunch also arrived. My favorite time was Bob's lunch time to chitchat with him. I very much looked forward to our sharing of fishing stories. The gleam sparked in his eyes whenever he recalled going fishing with the kids or as young man himself. Ofcourse, our fish "stories" grew bigger each time we shared one :)
Bless your heart Bob ~
You will dearly be missed by many !

Chris,
We've been missing your smiling face at the office and Lisa Nelson just connected with me on the news. I'm dropping you a note to let you know how much we feel for you right now, and our thoughts & prayers are with you.

I am so very sorry to hear about Robert's passing. I grew up with Chris and have unfortunately lost touch. I have happy memories of playing soccer and softball with Robert as our coach. Juanita, Chris, Mike, Sue, and your families-my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
