Robert Julian Obituary
Robert E. "Bob" Julian, 78, of rural Monticello, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Bob was born on August 21, 1935 in Lafayette to the late George and Alta (Evans) Julian. He graduated from Montmorenci High School and attended Purdue University. On July 18, 1977 he married Brenda Causton in Lafayette, and she survives. He was the co-owner and co-founder of Lafayette Quality Products, and before that worked at Metal Masters. Bob enjoyed radio controlled airplanes, fishing, water sports, riding his motorcycle, and wood working.
Surviving along with his wife are one son, Eric J. Julian of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and one daughter, Kristy Jo Butler of Flora. Also surviving are three sisters, Dorothy (husband: Ralph) Boes of West Lafayette, Donna (husband: Charles) Gullion of Lafayette, Pat South of Lafayette, one brother Max (wife: Barbara) Julian of Lafayette, and four grandchildren.
Services will be on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at Simplicity Funeral Care. Entombment at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to American Kidney Fund. Simplicity Funeral Care entrusted with care. Share memories and condolences at www.simplicity-funeralcare.com.
