Jeannine and family, I have nothing but fond memories of Bob. He use to tease me so much about his love for snow and I would tell him green grass is better. It was always great to see him cheering us on along the Grandma's and Twin Cities Marathon routes. I was so blessed to know Bob. May God comfort each and everyone of you during this difficult time. Dear Jeannie and Family,

I am so, so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I just found out from my daughter Jennie this morning. We have lost a great man and a great friend. Bob was one of our best friends and my wife Mary and I had some wonderful times with him and you cross-country skiing up North, hunting, fishing, spending week-ends at your cabin and wonderful times at your home. Those are truly wonderful memories. He was a great competitor, always working hard to improve his physical conditioning, his health and always encouraging the rest of us to improve. As a result, I used to tease him and call him ‘Dad' once in a while. Bob was such a kind person, full of fun, always smiling and full of laughter. He had a good sense of humor. We had such great times together. I will never forget him. I am sorry I was unable to come down to visit with Bob and you the last few years. Please accept my sincerest sympathy on your great loss. We have all lost a great friend.
