Dear Joann and family. I grew up with Bob and all the Kabels. He was a good person and did so well. I have not seen anyone since Helen's funeral but remember all well. My sympathy and thoughts are with you all . Lorna (Birss) Cowan in Brandon MB.

Well...we lost a great one. Bob was one of a kind and whenever or whoever was in his presence always left feeling much better about themselves. Bob was a good friend to our family and will be fondly remembered for the memories he and the rest of you created in our early family years when our connection and relationship was cemented.
My condolences and heart goes out to all of you in the Kable family. I will be thinking of you all Saturday.
Warmest regards

To The Family Of Bob Kabel:
Growing up in Saskatoon, I was a regular attendee at the "Saskatoon Quakers" hockey games. We were seated close to the players as my friend's grandfather purchased all eight seats right behind the players' bench. Many years later, I met up with one of Bob's teammates from the "Quakers", Dick Lamoureaux, who was a flooring contractor in Edmonton. But I was never fortunate enough to connect with Bob, although I was aware of his work with Labatt Breweries.
As a young boy I remember Bob as a skilled and dedicated hockey player but equally as important, he was a really nice person. Bob's success in the corporate world is a testament to his fine character.
Sincere sympathy.
