Robert “Bob” Paul Kaiser passed away peacefully at his home, on January 5, 2022 at the age of 94. He was born November 14, 1927 in Lancaster Township, Freeport, Illinois.
He grew up working on his parent’s dairy farm and after graduation from high school, he proudly served in World War II as an airplane mechanic and part of the Berlin airlift operation.
After serving he attended the DeVry Institute and soon after opened up a TV sales and repair business in Freeport, Illinois, where they lived until 1997, when they moved to Flower Mound, Texas to be closer to their sons.
Bob was a hardworking fun-loving guy who cherished being with his family and friends. He enjoyed having a good time, telling stories, playing cards, happy hours (prayer meetings, as he called them), with snacks and margaritas and was known to have a mischievous glint in his eye. He never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Kaiser; three children, Sally and husband Dan Pick, Jeff and wife Carmen, Gregg and wife Ellie; five grandchildren, Lynsie, Jeremy, Lauren, Matthew, Melissa; five great-granchildren, Kylie, Matthew, Addison, Graham, Brie and several nieces and nephews.
