Message for any relative of late mr. Robert L. Kimball that reads this: His brother, John R. Kimball was killed on 11 april 1945 in Germany. His grave is at the American War Cemetery Margraten in the Netherlands. At this location, graves have been adopted by local citizens. My family has been putting flowers on his grave since 1945, we are 3th generation now. We tried before to send information on this to his next of kin with no succes. Recently I found out about his brother, Robert L, who died in 2013. That's why I post a message on this condoleance board, hoping tho reach any relative. If you are interested, please feel free to contact us.

Dear Greta, John and I just heard about the passing of your beloved father and would like to extend our deepest and heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. We are so sorry that we were not there to personally pay our respect, since we know the feeling of losing someone so dear to us.
However, after reading about your father, we are certain that you will always hold the dearest and most precious memories of not only a wonderful father, but a remarkable human being. Your family will remain in our prayers.

Bob, a man well loved by more than his family; but equally by his friends and associates. He will always be remembered as a benevolent hero and icon of Cambria County; a distinguished gentleman and a caring friend. His heroic military service was only a harbinger of the service he was to continue to render to his country, community and his church. Bob left his footprint large upon the landscape of Pennsylvania, indeed America, and upon so many of our hearts.
