Robert KINGSTON

KINGSTON, Robert Francis (Bob) Peacefully, at the age of 96, after a full and satisfying life, on Thursday, February 22, 2018. Captain Regular Force Royal Canadian Ordinance Corps, Veteran of WWII, peacekeeping (Vietnam) followed by 13 years with the Public Service (Department of Supply and Services). Proud member of the Kanata Legion branch 638. Predeceased by his precious wife of 67 years, Alice (Turner), his parents William and Ruby Kingston, his brothers William and Gerald and his sister Mary Turner. Survived by his sister Anne Crouse and by his children Robert W. (Mary) of San Clemente, California, Joan (late Mark Spooner), Colleen Gallagher, John, and Diane (John Neshcov), all of the Ottawa area. Beloved Papa to 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and uncle to many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff of Rideau 1 North at the Perley Rideau for their kind and compassionate care and to Sue, Amy-Leigh, Margo and Melanie for their added help.
