Robert Koza Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 11, 2025.
Worcester - With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Robert Paul Koza, affectionately known as "Bob," on June 21, 2025, at the age of 79. Bob spent his final years at St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Home. Born on June 11, 1946, Bob was a beacon of kindness and laughter. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Donna Irene Nelson-Koza, with whom he shared a love story marked by unwavering support and joy as active members of the Aldersgate Methodist Church in Worcester, MA. Bob was the cherished son of Jeanne Eva (Koza) Foote and Hilary Joseph Koza, who instilled in him the values of kindness, family, and community.

Bob was a devoted brother to John Koza and his wife Jana, Michael Koza and his wife Karen, Nancy Griswold and her husband Skippy, and Donna Kwasnicki and her husband Joe. A loving stepfather to Sharon Nelson-Collins and her spouse Reverend Nancy Collins, and Susan Selby, he mourned the loss of stepchildren Carol Krasnecky, Tamara Nelson, and Michael Nelson. Bob was a devoted uncle who enjoyed cheering for his nephews at baseball games. His love for music, especially polkas, was evident as he played his accordion, bringing joy to many. A funeral service will be held on July 25, 2025, 10:30 AM, at the Jesus Life Center in Worcester, MA, with a private family interment at Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. The family extends gratitude for the support during this time and invites all who knew Bob to celebrate his remarkable life, cherishing his legacy of warmth, kindness, and joy.
