Thank you for a lifetime of magnificent literature that captured the magic and meaning of why it all matters, a body of work that will live forever, and a uniquely fresh view that Canadian landscapes equal the most important psychic terrains in the universe. Deepest condolences to the family, friends, and countless admirers of an extraordinary and brilliant oeuvre in most every genre attempted and conquered. Long may Hazard LePage run. It was never in vain. Your work will remain among the best of the best but you were just too good for your own good. Too bad :-). RIP, RPK. Again, thank you.

I met Robert when he moved into the condo that my mom lives in. Robert and I developed a friendship based on our mutual love of poetry. I enjoyed many discussions with him and was inspired to read several of his novels. I will cherish my signed copy of his latest ook of poems. Robert, i will miss you.

We will remember above all Bob's humour, his generosity and his genius. My husband Anthony sat with Bob on the NeWest Board;I had the privilege of speaking with Bob privately at The Banff Centre not so long ago. In his last book, he wrote "for old times and conversations." I will always treasure it. Our sincere condolences to Bob's family; hopefully they will take comfort in knowing that Bob touched a great many people who think of him affectionately. Bev and Anthony Rasporich
