I was a troubled youth and was sent to Eastern Military Academy in 1964. Bob was my company commander. Bob taught me discipline, courage and honor. I enlisted in the Army in 1966. Went to Vietnam in 1967. Because of Bob, I was prepared for the military. Thank you Bob. Rest in peace and thanks to Jesus Christ I will see you again in a much better place. My sympathy to his family in this time of grief. You are in my thoughts and prayers.Ste

I started working with Bob in 1992 at Sears. We shared a love for reading and after I retired from Sears I began working part time at B&N. Later, Bob asked me to put in a good word about him to my boss and Bob was hired at B&N too! So glad I had a chance to work with him again. We miss him at B&N and I know customers do too!

I met Bob in 2011 at my work place but we became instant friends. He is a very kind man with an incredible smile and a heart of gold. Miss you Bob! RIP

I will always remember the special friendship you all shared with my parents. During my Dads last 5 years of life on earth I so valued how Bob kept in touch in whatever way he could with my Dad. May God and your wonderful time together bring you peace and comfort. Much love and sympathy to you all.
