Robert Kuck Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jan. 23 to Jan. 24, 2005.
Robert Wayne Kuck Robert Wayne Kuck passed away peacefully, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family on January 20, 2005. We will miss his kind and loving ways. He will live on in our hearts until we meet again. Bob was born February 14, 1941, to John and Inzie (Stutheit) Kuck in his beloved Caldwell, Idaho. He resided in Syracuse with the love of his life, Darlene, since 1959. Bob had a way of befriending everyone who crossed his path. He was a respected and loved member of the community and a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was sealed to his eternal companion, Darlene, and his children in the Ogden Temple. Bob worked for R.C. Willey from the time he was eighteen years old. He made numerous friends and aided the company's growth and success. Even though the store was across the street from his house, he drove his car to work every day. After 46 years of loyal employment, Bob still proudly wore his R.C. Willey badge. Bob enjoyed working in his yard and garden, attending Utah Jazz games with his wife and buying treasures for his grandchildren. We all loved his goofy ways and funny sayings. He had a knack for making others feel loved and important. Bob will be deeply missed by all. Bob is survived by: his loving wife Darlene Hawks Kuck; children: Russell Kuck, Jeanie Goldschmied, Gretchen Stewart, Joby Kuck, Nathan Kuck, and Heidi Fausett; siblings: Lloyd Kuck, John Kuck, Leroy Kuck, Ruby Victory, Irene Harris, Loretta Roark, and Arlene Winters; grandchildren: Lindsay Evertsen, Chelsea, and Chloe Kuck; Alexis, Colby, Bosten, Enzie, and Jack Goldschmied; Dajah and Jadha Stewart; Anyssa, Kristyn, Kendra and Dawson Kuck, Nicholas Kuck; Hayden and Clytie Fausett. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Inzie Kuck, and his siblings Floyd and Alta Marie Kuck. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Maplewood LDS Church, 1660 W. 2228 S. Syracuse, Utah. Friends and family may call Monday , January 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the Maplewood Chapel. Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery. E-mail condolences to the family at [email protected]

So sorry about your loss. I first met "Kuckie" when I worked for the bowling alley in Layton. Saw him once in a while when I went to work in Riverdale. He was a real nice guy. Bought my carpet for my house from him at RC Willey's in 1988. He was a good friend. I just barely found out today that he passed. I can still see his friendly face and hear his laugh. He will be missed

Love to all the family.

Our deepest love and sympathy to the Kuck family. Although we know Russel and Belinda best, Bob has had impact and influence on our lives. Our trip to Lake Powell will always be remembered with fondness. Thanks for letting us use your boat. Whenever we went to RC Wiley we looked for Bob. He sold us several pieces of furniture. Bob will be missed by all! With love, The Coxes

My experience with Bob is limited, but I know his son, Russell, and he was grandfather to my two beautiful neices. My condolences to all the Kuck family.

Our fondest memory of Bob was when he joined us for a fun filled week at Lake Powell. It was a great opportunity for us to get to know Russel's dad a little better. He is a wonderful man with a great sense of humor. We had a wonderful time with him.

Sincerely,

Tim and Valori Treft
