LAWRENCE — Mr. Robert R. Labranche, 58, died Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at his home.
Born in Lawrence, Mr. Labranche had been an area resident all of his life. He had been employed at DEC-Tam Co. and was very active at the Lawrence British Club.
He enjoyed all sports, but especially baseball, and was an avid reader of nonfiction. He was a Vietnam veteran, having served with the U.S. Army.
The son of the late Armand and AnnaBelle (Poisson) Labranche, he is survived by: his life partner: Margy Casey of Lawrence; two stepsons: Chris Bowie of Lawrence, Ryan Bowie of Lawrence; three sisters: Carolyn M. Leduc of Lawrence, Shirley G. and her husband Bruce Larochelle of Dorchester, N.H., Theresa A. and her husband Charles Hersey of Enfield, Conn.; three brothers: Michael D. Labranche and his wife Marie of Newton, N.H., John R. Labranche and his wife Ann of Sanbornville, N.H., Thomas A. Labranche of Lawrence. There are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS: Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Racicot Funeral Home, 256 Broadway, Lawrence. Memorial donations may be made to the Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St., Lawrence, MA 01843; or to Disabled American Veterans. www.racicotfuneralhome.com.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Twig's family. Although it has been many years, I share Tommy's wonderful memories of Twig at the beach, the school yard & CYO. God bless & Keep you ,my friend.

I was shocked to hear today of Bobby's passing,even though we didn't see each other often L.A. was always in my thoghts.Too many good times to list.Bobby was a great man and will be sadly missed.
