Bob and I were second cousins. During childhood, I would see Bob, his brother Tom, and sister Dru, at Johnson family get-togethers in Richmond and Houston, but I lost track of Bob as we grew up, and would see him only occasionally, usually at family funerals. Bob had a close relationship with my mother, stayed in touch with me after she passed away in 2003. I know Bob was incredibly thoughtful and kind, and he had so much love, generosity and devotion to his friends, fraternity brothers, co-workers and extended family. I know his last years were difficult, but he is now released from the limitations of his physical body and his lovely spirit is what I will remember. Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory, Bob!

I always knew him as "Uncle Bob". As his nephew, he was always considerate, kind and incredibly giving. Reading up on his past achievements and the incredibly kind comments from friends, it seems it was just his nature. He always appeared to put others before himself and never took anything for granted. I will miss him and will always cherish the memories we have together. Rest in peace, Uncle Bob. I love you.

We love Bob. He was my uncle Craig´s best friend and a lifelong friend of our family - especially my grandmother. May Bob rest in peace and score that 300 game every day. XO Julie Grayum

Bob was a champion. He always knew the latest and greatest stories about my brothers and we traded dad jokes.
He visited me and stayed at my place.
We talked monthly and tried to inspire each other. What a storyteller.
I miss him.
