Pete was one of the most influential people in my life! He was my first boss at Valley Bank, and his insights, intellect, and incredible capacity to look above, and beyond even a simple task were incorporated in the tools that helped me with my career..and life!
So many times throughout my life and my career I have always thought ...what would Pete have done?
I was fortunate to have Peter as a mentor and also a lifelong friend enjoying the simple things like watching our grandchildren from the sidelines. I will definitely miss not seeing Peter on the sidelines but I know he´ll always be there rooting for his grandchildren with that warm smile on his face!!
My thoughts and prayers are with you, Peggy and the entire Landon family.
Thank you Peter for being an important Intercal part in my life!
So few people in life can leave an indelible impression and memory that you were able to do so naturally!!!

I am very sorry to learn of your loss . I had the opportunity to work with Pete on Longmeadow´s Finance Committee. His knowledge, diligence and passion in exercising the responsibilities we shared were remarkable - I learned so much from him...will most of all remember his sincere kindness. My family was sad to hear about Mr.Landon. His kindness and love of family was apparent. It was an unexpected surprise to see Tommy last July and far too long since I have seen Matt. My heart hurts for you all. Celebrate the many memories of a life well lived and loved.

Dear Peggy and your beautiful family, I am so sad to hear of your great loss. Peter was a pleasure to work for at Valley Bank/BayBank in my early working years. The Marketing Department was never the same after he moved on to the Commercial Loan Division. My, his accomplishments were so many and meaningful! You all must be very proud of him, and it's obvious that the love you shared was something special. I'm praying for healing for all of you in your grief, and that the beautiful memories you've made will give you strength to face the new challenges of life without his presence. peg & family - we are so saddened and shocked to hear of our neighborhood buddy's passing. the hood will never be the same! we have enjoyed our friendship and time with you that started when our kids were babies and the Landon home was our daily destination. EVERY SINGLE DAY - rain or shine!!! We all quickly became obsessed with the most fun couple and their amazing puppy Buster! Our visits turned into picnics and parties on your front lawn... so sorry if we overstayed our welcome!! but thank you both so much for the best memories and joy that you brought to our block. we will miss him so much... sending much love from our kids - kc & devin roffo and jude, luke, matt & tess bonavita

Dear Peg, For so many years both you and Peter have contributed a great deal to the Town of Longmeadow by serving on committees. Peter's comments on decisions made by the Town in relation to the budget were always helpful to all the members of the Select Board. I will miss his input.

Peg and family, I was so sad when Lori told me a Peter's passing. It's been 15 years since we left Long Meadow, but I remember fondly the 40 years we lived there and all the wonderful friends we made. I pray that God's love will sustain you through this sad time. Love Isabel

Peter was a consummate gentleman!! Always polite and caring. A continual presence on Meadowbrook Road...always available to help with maintaining the beauty of the street. A true loss. My condolences to the Landon family!

Peter packed his life with love and service. He had boundless energy and was interested in everyone and everything. Whenever we met, he always greeted with a warm smile and a glint in his eye. He became part of our family when he married Peg. We treasured him as family and as a dear friend.
