Still thinking of my friend of the skies.

Joshua and I were flying just the other day and wondering who's server to join. We both thought of Raptor and were sad.

Robert was an extremely intelligent and detail oriented individual :)), who I can say I was proud to know. He was one of the first people who mentored me in flight sim. Many a night were spent talking to him and my other friends in the FS community.

I hope he is having a blast in the afterlife!!

Many years ago, I shared my first birthday with a man that was a stranger to
me. As time went by, that man would become known to me as Uncle, a man I
could only aspire to be

Although far away, Uncle is special to me, he taught me to love life, be who
I am and most importantly, take care of the ones I love no matter what power
I believe in from above.

Today is dark cold and rainy, some would say it was appropriate for the day,
for today Uncle will prepare to leave us, but never be far away

"Live for today, there is no afterlife", he would say. And when I'm gone, no
need for masses or funerals, just celebrate the day, love and memories will
keep me alive, and I will never be far away

Uncle will always be with me, in my heart is where he will stay and in a few
days when I blow out the candles, my wish will be for Uncle...thank you for

Well, I don't know what to say. Thank you all for everything you've had to say about my dad. I didn't know him very well, and I wish I could have gotten to know him better before this happened. I appreciate everything that has been said here because it's given me some insight into who my father was. I've gotten to know him better through everyone here. Thank you all for your kind comments, it's allowed me to see that my dad had friends who cared about him and are sad that he's gone. I've been reading this guestbook over the last year as people have been entering things on here and it's really touched me. Thank you all, and may my dads memory fly high and never die!

I was the last to braid your silly tail in the back. it was gone when you left. to bad you couldnt keep it.

I'm very sorry to hear this tragic news. Rob was someone who was always cheerful, and whose patience, kindness and love for teaching others the ropes of Flight Simulator was without limits. It was he who got me interested in the multiplayer aspect of FS - without him I would never have found this fantastic community. I'm honored to have been able to share the virtual skies with him, and his presence there will be greatly missed by everyone.

Raptor was a WILD MAN and we'll miss his "special edge" out here in cyberspace. Very, very sorry to hear of your loss. There has been a lot of talk about him out here... quite an influence and extrovert. Don't know what he was like in the real world, but our little window into his life has been met with good favor and regard. To the extent that we can be of any use, please know there are a bunch of folks out here who have noted his passing with sadness. Good luck and Godspeed to his family.

It is people like N66FC that makes Flight Simulation such a wonderful hobby for all Flight Simulation Enthusiasts.
I have thanked you in person on the server and now I am giving you my warmest "Thank You" for all that you have contributed.

Every once in a while a person is created who is given a gift. A

gift of wisdom and kindness to share with those he meets in

his journey thru life. Raptor was that person, he touched so

many with his talents. Words alone cannot put into context

the great pleasure to meet and know Raptor all beit thru a

teamspeak server. But for some it was all that was needed to

get to know him. My words here are short, because some

things are best left to memory. So in closing a short verse I

have written in his honor.

With flight plan filed, and everything sound
he called for a push, even with no ground
A taxi to active and a check of the flaps
His skill was undaunting, but we always knew that.

With one final check first left and then right,
he let everyone know he was about to take flight
So Raptor, with wheels up and flaps set to climb
We will always read you,a strong five by five.

I just hear the news and Im so sorry. He was indeed a true friend. My prayers are with his family.

Rob was a good friend and pilot. I met Rob when he first got FS2004, and actually taught him to fly the sim lol. Robert was one of the most caring and patient guys i ever met online and helped many many people. I will miss him and so will all the people he touched online and off.

I have been flying with Rob for a better part of 3 years. He was a special friend to me his wisdom knew no bounds I know he is looking down on us, and wishing us all a good flight. Rob, this is for you my friend to no end.

For the last year and a half Rob was my constant Flight Sim flying friend. We talked daily shared computer stuff daily. KGZ will not be KGZ without him. He is and will be missed beyond the ordinary. Although we never met face to face, he was my friend who I confided too. I know Rob talked a lot about his family and his love for them. I reach out to his family with heart to say thank you for the priveledge of having him for a friend.

Rob was a good friend to many in the Flight Sim community who never met him face to face, but we knew his heart. He was always ready for a flight and would always patiently explain things to new people. He made his resources available to us and we missed him even before we knew of his untimely departure. He made things better. I'd like to express my deepest condolences and profound sorrow at our loss.
