Robert Leach Obituary
Born October 21, 1927 in Southington, he was the son of the late Frank and Annette (Schroth) Leach.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his two sons; Dr. Robert A. Leach, Jr., of Brussels, Belgium and Richard Leach and his wife Amy of Troy, MI; three grandchildren, Daniel, Abigail and Sarah Leach. He was predeceased by his sister Anne Leach.
His funeral will be held on Monday, January 17th at 10:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington, to Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St., Plantsville, for a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Robert was one of the nicest gentleman that I have ever known. When I first started work in sales at L.R. Smith Inc., Robert was the first to welcome me to the team and the one that would always lend assistance and teach me the ropes in the business. A kind man that I am sure will be missed by many. My most sincere condolences to the family.

I was just visiting my mother in laws grave at St. Thomas ( buried last Th) and saw BOb right across from her!!! I knew right away it was him

I am deeply saddened to read about Bob's passing. I have had the wonderful opportunity to have made his acquaintance at the Southington YMCA. He was always eager to share stories of his youth and growing up in Southington, a town he was very proud of. He will be missed by all at the Y, and the locker room that he presided over will miss his presence. May God welcome him to heaven with opened arms.
