A good stepfather who showed me how to do so many things like how to prune Bonsai's, build a fort, gardening, the list goes on and on. Always had nice memories growing up and wish I was able to tell him as I could never imagine that he would be gone so unexpectedly. The good memories carry on with us all...

I didn't know Bob for long, just a year, but in that time we bacame close friends. I originall met Bob last May when he came to visit brother kenny here in upstate NY. Bob wanted to go turkey hunting. Well that's what we did and he took his first wild turkey with a shotgun on 052112 with my son Rick. We also had some great conversation and started a friendship. Bob and i kept in touch through 2012, with me having a surgery in June , Bob checked on me often and after recovery he texted and called and always prodded me to eat more and better foods. Bob loved to cook and shared many recipes with me. He was amentor and a fatherly figure while seeming like a brother and friend at the same time. Bob returned in the deer season last year and we hunted together many times, almost having that shot on deer, we went unsuccssful but the conversations and jokes and other sights we saw were uncompared to taking a deer. I am a coin enthusast and Bob took right off on that subject. He started learning about coins and started coin roll hunting. A hobby to find precious coins in regular coin rolls from the banks. He took to it like a kid in a candy store and we regularly( almost daily) spoke with each other on our finds and texting when we found something and always giving each other that "yeah!! " or "nice" !! He loved the hunt as well as the interaction he experienced while bank hopping. He had so many stories for 6 months time, it would have made one hell of a book! Bob was saving these for his two sons whom he spoke of almost each time we spoke. He loved his family and friends, always speaking of Stewart and his family and others. Bob taught me alot about life in the short time i knew him. I felt it was cut short although I know he is in a better place now. I will miss Bob with all my heart each day. I will always think of him while I'm searching and will still let him know what i have found in my own way. Hopefully someday we will reunite and i will see his wonderful smile again. I loved that man with all my heart. Miss you Bob! Search it up my brother! -Eric
