Dear Bob:. I cried at your wedding. Wish I could cry at your funeral, but can't make it. I'll be having Mass for you, Bobbie, and the family here in El Salvador. I always loved visits to your home. Can't wait to see your new mansion in the Lord's Kingdom. The real deal. Eternally yours in the God of love--Fr. Denny

Growing up in Gary Heights was interesting because we had many friends. Bob was a great friend who I spent a lot of time with. He was great to know, smart, athletic and kind. We had great times. Although I lost track of him later in high school I still remember Bob as adventurous and witty. I hated to hear of his passing at this stage of his life after working so long to retire with so many children and grand-children. I am sure he left many good impressions on them. My condolences go out to them and his sweet Wife Bobbie. I played ball with her brother so many years ago. I wish you the best Bobbie.
Regards, Randy Haslett
