Robert Lewis Obituary
He was raised in the Cecilia area and graduated from Howevalley High School. After high school, he spent two years in the U.S. Army and received an honorable discharge. He then obtained a civil service job at Fort Knox where he worked for 41 years before retiring. He also had a real estate license for more than 50 years and helped his son with Lewis Auction Company.
Bobby was known to pick on people which was a sure way to know he liked you.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pricilla Lewis; his parents, Tom and Nannie Lewis; and two brothers, Stewart Lewis and Paul Lewis.
He is survived by his son, Kenny (Janice) Lewis; two granddaughters, Kelli (Jacob) Gipson and Tracey (Joe) Johnson; two great-grandsons, Bennett Lewis Gipson and Cole Robert Gipson; a great-granddaughter, Shelby Ryan; and two sisters, Anna Ruth Nichols and Mary Jane Vowels.
There will be a private family burial.

Bobby was a great Uncle, only a very intelligent person can have that much wit and character.
One of my favorite memories of all the Aunts and Uncles is their constant story telling. They always had a story to tell and you knew it had to be true; because nobody could have made up these stories.
I recently met someone who had a long ago relative that once lived in Cecilia. I was asked if I knew them, to which I replied; "No, but I´ve heard stories about a man called "Bigfoot____." They were delighted I had heard of their relatives. Our Family will be telling stories about Bobby for Generations.
