Sue, We/Bob still talk about the day your dad and Bob came to the farm, sat in lawn chairs and watched my Bob picking cherries....they all had a good time telling stories, etc. Lots of good memories, so cherish them. We continue to keep you in our daily prayers. Our deepest sympathy, Bob and Martha Postlewait

Matt,

I spoke with you on the phone today, and I just wanted to express my condolences again on the passing of your dad. He was a wonderful man and I will truly, truly miss him. He spoke so highly of you, Mark, and Hallie. He was so proud of all of you and your accomplishments both personally and professionally. I consider myself lucky to have known him. My heart goes out to Sue, and all of you. Please email me, if there is ANYTHING I can do... [email protected]

My love to all,

Wendy

Dear Matt and Connie,

Bob was a very special person. Kind, generous, witty, gregarious. He was my dear friend. I am sorry for your loss. I feel everyone who knew Bob has suffered a loss.

Whoever wrote the obituary did a great job of capturing him.

My sincere condolences to you, Sue.

That description of fun-loving and generous really describes Bob perfectly. I know he'd say how much he paced at night when he owned SSM, but overall I'd say Bob didn't "sweat the small stuff." As a previous employee, there couldn't have been a better boss in terms of generosity --- there are so many places that John and I have visited that we never would have had the opportunity to see otherwise. A lot of good times at our crazy lunches, too! And a pleasure knowing Matt and Hallie, who I have always liked very much, and of course, Sue -- an awesome ball of fire!

Bob will be missed by many.

P.S. This is Susan again. I have one more important thing I have to say, and that is, Bob told me once a statement that has inspired me in my whole life, and the statement is, "If you do your job right and treat people well, money will dance in you're back yard". And the truth is, money isn't everything". That was Bob. Thankyou, Peace

Matt, Sue and your'e entire family, I want to wish you my deepest sympathy on the passing of your'e Father and Husband. HE WAS THE BEST!!! I respected him so much!!! I loved working for him. There was nobody like him. Even today I tell everybody that I work with, that if Bob asked me to sell rocks on a beach I would do it in a second.

He was my friend. When I think of him, I Smile, I loved his laugh. He will be in my heart forever. He's only a breath away. Today, I saw a hummingbird and I said "Hi Bob", and will forever. Susan Lavender

We had the extreme pleasure of meeting Bob through through his special daughter Hallie...our dear friend. Meeting him in SF and AZ (and Sue!). He was certainly a generous and "daring" soul - hosting 10+ baseball lovers each yr. the past 2 yrs. at his home for Spring Training. Dinners, lunches, limo rides, card games, music, etc. He wanted to share it all with us and he did so lovingly and generously. For those experiences we are blessed...he meant so much to so many...in so many different ways. His love for his children and Sue was always at the surface and evident. Our hearts go out to them all at this difficult time. He will be missed, but never forgotten. Thanks Bob!!

My name is Sylvia Hendrickson, I started at Sunshine Media in August of '91. I enjoyed working for and knowing Bob, he was such a kind man that was very generous. Bob sponsored my dad to qualify for the Seniors PGA tournament, he also spoiled all of us with lunches and dinners. He was so down to earth, I considered him a friend. After he sold the company, I could pick up the phone at any given time just to say hey and chat, he always welcomed people that use to work for him to call him, it made him feel really good when people remembered him. I am going to miss him a lot, the last time I saw Bob was when he came to my Dad’s services in November. I wish I could talk with Bob one last time and tell him how much I looked up to him, he was a very sweet man that I thought the world of.
