Robert Lucier Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 16, 2025.
Robert Edward Lucier, 82, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025, in Merrimack, New Hampshire.

Born on December 26, 1942, in Nashua, New Hampshire, Robert was the son of Paul Lucier Sr. and Lucille (Chartier) Lucier. He grew up in Nashua and attended local schools, graduating from Nashua High School in 1961.

Following his graduation, Robert proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy from 1961 to 1965. After completing his military service, he returned to Nashua. In the late 1960s, he worked as a firefighter for the City of Nashua.

Robert later embarked on a long and fulfilling career at The Nashua Telegraph, where he worked for over three decades. Even after retiring from The Telegraph, Robert remained active in the workforce by taking on a part-time position at Market Basket, where he continued to engage with members of the community until his retirement earlier this year.

Robert is survived by his wife Patti; daughters Diane Duras and her husband David, and Carol Newell; grandchildren Kayla, Cameron, Stephanie, and Brandon; sister Anne Marie Landry and her husband Timothy; sister-in-law Patricia Lucier; four nieces and one nephew; several grandnieces and grandnephews as well as Patti's children-Jay and Shannon-and their families.

He was predeceased by his parents Paul Sr. and Lucille Lucier; brother Paul Jr.; sister Sr. Pauline Lucier (CSC); and former wife Pauline (Marquis) Lucier.

A Graveside Service will be held on July 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM at NH Veterans Cemetery 110 Daniel Webster Highway. All are welcome to attend.
