Working for Bob in Hong Kong was a great experience. He was a superb manager and leader; the better he becomes as the years pass. Maybe it was his rock-solid integrity and sense of the appropriate -- he was a seminal figure in my career -- my God, I was lucky to work for him!

Bob asked me to come to work for him in Hong Kong; my time there opened new perspectives for me. He was an excellent manager, one of the best I ever encountered. Even now I look back and realize the examples he set. It is good to have worked for a good man early in one's career -- it shapes you. My wife and I liked him and Betty a lot and we feel so fortunate to have known them. Our time with Dow and the Lundeens in Hong Kong was a seminal time in our lives. Steve and Helen Guittard

Rest in peace,Bob. You were an inspiration to us all. It was an honor to be on your original team who went to Hong Kong in 1966. With fond memories , Jim Harris

Pete, so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. He surely lived a beautiful, full life, but that doesn't make it any easier to say farewell. I hope you are buoyed up by the love of your family.

I worked for Bob Lundeen in Hong Kong from 1973 to 1978 or '79. He was the best boss i ever had. He was a master at assembling capable managers and giving them rein to apply their skills to the Asian scene that was our domain.

He helped other people develop skills that benefitted everybody, and he did it with grace, wisdom, and aplomb.
While he was in charge, Dow was the very best company in the world to work for.
