Robert Maldonado

Robert Maldonado, of Nipomo,CA suddenly passed away January 9,2023 at the age of 59. Robert Maldonado was born to Jesse and Lydia Maldonado on December 16,1963 in San Luis Obispo ,CA. Robert is survived by his mother Lydia Maldonado, his children Chris(Maria) Garcia,Robert Maldonado Jr (Barbara), Destiny Maldonado(Henry), mother of his children Dolores Maldonado, 7 grandchildren, one great grandson, long time friend Mary Palmer and daughter Marissa Palmer. He is also survived by brothers Ernie(Virgie), Tony (Lori), Raymond (Sylvia) Maldonado, sister Sylvia (Jose) Castillo and sister in law Roberta Maldonado, and numerous of nieces and nephews. Robert proceeds in death by his father Jesse Robert Maldonado and brother Jesse Robert Maldonado Jr. Robert worked in the tile business for numerous of years and enjoyed his time at fire camp with all the adventures that came with it. The light of his eyes were his children and grandchildren. Family was everything to him he enjoyed fishing and outdoors, always looking for hidden treasures. Everyone knew Robert loved his sweets; couldn't get enough of them. Some of the quotes he will be remembered by are "Drive it like you stole it " and "Don't be a broad." Robert will be missed by everyone,but will be remembered in life by humming his way through life.

Services will take place Friday February 10,2023 at 4 pm at the church in Guadalupe (4635 sixth st) and Celebration of life will be February 11,2023 in Nipomo ,CA at 470 Mehlshau Rd from 1PM-6PM
