Mr. Mauch was such a sweet man. I enjoyed each time we talked. I especially enjoyed our "sway" dancing in the back of the hall at Katelyn's wedding. And his "best in the world" gin martinis were out of this world.
Deepest condolences to all Mr. Mauch's family and friends.

Bob loved to dance, and I always capitalized on the opportunity to "step it" with Bob. One of my favorite times dancing with Bob still makes me chuckle to this day. We were in the middle of a "Swing" when he announced " I sure hope I have the beat cause I can't hear a thing!!" Bob Mauch was the gentlest of gentle, the kindest of kind, and the epitome of a gentleman. I'm glad I was privileged to know you, Bob. Think of us all while cutting a rug or two in heaven!! In heaven there is no beer, that's why we drink it hear ...

I will miss our breakfasts and talks. Bob was truly a person who cared and was truly interested in what you had to say. He was always happy and a light in every room he entered. I will miss Bob for a long time to come.

Enjoy the beautiful moments that are given you.
The moments are gifts that can never be demanded.
Find the best in every moment.
Find the best in every person.
Never speak badly about anyone for that speaks badly about you.
Carrying anger and rancor in your heart only hurts yourself.
Always be ready to help.
It’s the small things that often help the most.
Turn the other cheek to learn the other side.
Money isn’t everything.
Pursue what you love.
Love what you do.
In determinately pushing life toward a fixed outcome, you often miss the signs of a path better taken.
Take time to listen, the answer will be there.
Quiet humour is the joy of life.
Speak to strangers.
Listen to strangers.
Always try your hardest.
Give it your best.
Look for the ways you can do it better next time.
Dancing through life is quite okay.
Never “throw” a game to a youngster. “They always know you did yet when they truly win their pride will never be forgotten.”
Gentleness, kindness, understanding, compassion and humility are strengths.
And the last lesson--
The death of a laughing, kind, compassionate, dancing person leaves the biggest hole and the strongest memories.
All this and so much more were lessons given by my Dad. Not always in words but they rang through his actions. He lived them. Dad, I can only try to live up to them.
