Robert Maynard Obituary
Bobby is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Maynard Brunsting, and her husband Nelson; their children, William and Nora. He is also survived by his sister, Wyolonda Smith, and brother Larry Maynard and wife Karen; nieces Dana Lawrie and husband Bryce, and Jessie Maynard; great nieces and nephews Taylor, Bryson, Kayden, Maycie, TJ, and Laila. He is survived by his partner and companion of over 20 years, Carol Harvey.
The family will honor and celebrate Bobby with a private gathering. They request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Senior Resources of Guilford, 1401 Benjamin Parkway, Greensboro, NC 27408, the Smith Active Adult Center, 2401 Fairview St., Greensboro, NC 27405, or PBS (pbs.org).

Bobby was wonderful - I am sorry that there was no celebration of his life for those of us who were close. I am sorry that many of use did not ever know. But he was a wonderful coffee buddy nearly every day for several years. His neighbors and I will never forget him.

I am so sorry for your loss. I just found out that Bobby had died. He was the most caring person I know. I am paraplegic and he helped me so much in the gym at the Smith and Trotter Centers. The last time I talked to him was this past August when I was in the hospital. I had called to let him know that I had heart failure and had gotten a pacemaker and I was in Cone Rehab. At that time, he told me to call him if I needed anything. That is the kind of person that Bobby was.

Bobby´s memory will always be cherished. I hope you find peace in the memories you have of him. He will always be in my heart and I will keep him close to me in my heart and thoughts.
He touched everyone´s life in a positive and meaningful way.
