Robert Howard McCommas

Robert and I met in 4th grade. I was lucky to him as a great, crazy freind went to BA together. So weird that so many people knew him or of him all over Dallas! My husband from Big Spring had met him somewhere as well. We went to the the hospice on August 18th. I told him that he could not die on the 19th because that is my birthday! He must have somehow heard me as he passed before midnight. Pamela Landrum Compton

Robert, I will always remember and fondly tell the story of how you, me and Lize spotted that first alligator down at the lake! Rest in peace.

The early days still stick in my memories of Robert,and Bobby,(whom we've just lost to the heavenly Father)and myself(still here in the flesh world).Those days we shared with all the wonderful memories that we all had with John Ivey and Bob Love who taught us to be Men playing the sport of Pee-wee football for the CASA LINDA Mavericks....Hey Dot I know you and Bill remember that!WE WILL FOREVER AND ALWAYS BE YOURS,DONNIE DAWSON

Robert will be a leaf that fell from the tree of life, but will always be remembered by all the friends that made a positive contact with his friendly,and always considerate soul!He will always be remembered for the friendships that his Family and us Dawson boys will always cherish....I love you Robert////Joshua 1 verse 9

We are so sorry to hear about Robert's pasing. He was a little boy when we first met him. He lived across the street from us on Farola. He played with our son Donnie Young. I know he will be greatly missed. I remember when he got locked in the bathroom one day and Dot called Bill at work (Bill was a fireman) and told him what had happened and he came home with the firetruck just a blowing. We all thought it was funny, but Dot didn't. They had to go through the bathroom window to get Robert out. He was very excited to see all the fireman. He thought is was fun. I can think of so many wonderful times.
