In memory of
Ed & Sandy Chase
October 29, 2025
We really miss Bob! He was a great joy to have as our next door neighbor here at Windsor Run. He was kind, thoughtful, gentle, friendly, and loved to go to dinner. He loved to talk about sports, especially the Atlanta Braves!
We loved to kid him about the Braves, because they used to be our Milwaukee team before leaving for Atlanta many years ago!
Rest in peace, Bob, we think of you often. Sandy & I and continue to enjoy our time with your lovely wife Susan

Very engaging, friendly, and soft spoken. We knew right away he would become a good friend. We always enjoyed the many dinners and conversations we had with Bob & Susan.

Susan and family: My condolences on your loss. As our scout troop treasurer for many years, Bob was a reliable but more important CARING member of our troop committee. His efforts allowed the troop to organize not only regular campouts but many high adventure trips and kept us financially solvent. With Bob, I knew we were in good hands for the finances! But more important, I will remember his steady hand, wisdom, kind words and happy laugh!

Susan,
My deepest sympathy to you and the family. Bob was the "chair" I looked up to the most at Clemson University. He was a terrific man. I think of you often, and all of us in forestry, wildlife, and fisheries miss you and Bob!

Bob was a truly wonderful individual. He was the one who found out about the opportunity for me to teach at Ben Gurion University in Israel during the Spring of 1989. I applied and got the terric opportunity to teach Corporate Finance and Managerial Economics (in English) during the Spring semester of 1989. It wason the graduade level. It was a veryery, very meaningful experience for both my wife, Joyce, and I to live in Israel for an extended period of tme. Bob was a very thoughtful and energetic Department Head. It was an honor to work for him.

My fondest memory was a fabulous road trip to the tip of Florida with Bob and Susan. Bob had planned stops for gourmet dining every day; enjoyed fishing in the Gulf and of course eating our catch. It was a great trip.

Trish and I are honored to have a friendship with Bob. His clever and unique insight and cheerful demeanor gave us a boost and still does when we think of him. We had lots of happy times playing cards, going to Georgia Tech football games, and sharing meals at home or at restaurants. Bob simply made the world better and still does.
