Joseph Bull

Rutledge, TN

Joseph Edward (Eddie) Bull, age 67, of Rutledge, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016. He was a member of Central Point Baptist Church, and was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and Popsie. He worked construction as a heavy equipment operator for 55 years. He was a 32nd degree mason and Shriner.

He was preceded in death by his father, E.J. Bull; grandparents, Joe and Edith Dalton, and John and Gerdie Bull; brother, David Bull; father-in-law, Clarence Clifton; aunt and uncle, Curtis and Lorriene Bull; and son-in-law, Roger Phelps. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Sandra Bull; sons, Timmy Joe (Jennifer) Bull, Joseph and Jeremy Bull; daughters, Trina Phelps and Terri (Jack) McBee; grandchildren, Ryan (Brenna) Bull, Anthony (Brandy) Bull, Sarah Renae, Wesley (Heather) Lee, Nathaniel (Valerie) Nicely, Rusty Phelps, Reilly Vaughn, and Jeremy Vaughn; great grandchildren, William Howard, Jaxon Nicely, and Madelyn Phelps; sister, Sissy (Lillard) Stratton; brother, Jim (Billie Sue) Bull; mother, Georgia Bull; sister-in-law, Denise (David) Norton and Wanda (Bill) Toby; brother-in-law, Clarence (Mildred) Clifton Jr; mother-in-law, Sarah Clifton; several nieces including special loving niece, Joy Greene, and nephews.

Masonic services will be 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 22, 2016 by Masonic Lodge Rising Star #44 to be followed by funeral services officiated by Rev. Ted Phillips and Rev. Robert White. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday in Grainger Memorial Gardens and serving as pallbearers will be Kenneth Greene, Mike Engram, Timmy Cameron, Jimmy Fennell, Luke Stratton, and Ronnie Bull; honorary pallbearers, Lillard Stratton and David Bull. The family will receive friends 4:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. prior to services Wednesday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Rising Star #44 Masonic Lodge, c/o 189 Church St, Rutledge, Tennessee, 37861. So sorry to hear about Eddie's passing. He was a good neighbor and friend, I will miss my conversations with him over the fence. The neighors will really miss him and seeing him travel up and down our road. Sandy, we will be praying for you and the family during this time.
