Bob was a Gentleman. He always had a smile on his face ~ he just brightened our days, at the Bangor Mall. You could always count on Bob to do the right thing. He was respected by many. I'm sure that Dad (Roy) and Bob are together talking about the good 'ole days! We will never forget him.
May your memories bring you comfort.

My thoughts and prayers are with Bob's family at this difficult time. I well remember the last time Ralph and I sat with him at an SP function. He and Ralph had a great time talking about all the old times. Ralph so enjoyed that evening. Well they are both above now and I hope together sharing a story to two! RIP - a life well lived!

Connie and family, so sorry to hear of your loss. Bob was a cousin of mine (his dad and my mother were brother and sister) and I have so many nice memories of him and especially the stories that he used to tell. Although it has been years since I last saw him, he will always be remembered as a dear cousin.

I have so many warm memories of our visits to Thomaston - Uncle Bob told great stories and Aunt Mary Lou was a wonderful cook. I was blessed to have them in my life. Mom loved to travel with them - she was their navigator.

It was an honor and privilege to know Capt. Robert McKenney. He will be missed, but never forgotten by his extended family, the Maine State Police.

Connie,

So sorry to hear the news about your Dad. Growing up across the street from you afforded me many conversations with him and your Mom. They were such nice people who just adored Brendan. The one thing I remember about him was his love to tinker. He always had the 5th wheeler in top shape, and fixed your snowmobile with ease. He could fix anything!!

You will be missed "Chief". I was grateful to him for the opportunity to start my career in law enforcement in his Department in Old Town. We chuckled at times as he also had three of his Washington County boys that started in Old Town. Me, Joe Tibbetts, and Bernie Hammond. He would tell us the story of Captain Eddy and his side car and then chuckle. I believe he would be happy to know that in retirement, his three Washington County boys moved back home. RIP Chief, we will joke some more about it when we all meet again.
