peacefully at Calvary Palliative Care on Saturday, 2nd July, 2016. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Susanne (Sue), loved and respected father and father-in-law of Robert John McKeown (Canberra), Tracey and Ian Lakey (Darwin), Allan Briggs (Wagga Wagga), Jamie and Kate McKeown (Diamond Creek), Melissa and David Lugton (Wagga Wagga), Peta-Jane and Matthew Staples (Diamond Creek), Graeme and Kerrie McKeown (Wagga Wagga), Yvonne and Frank Sickelsmith (Manassass, USA) and Shakira McKeown (Melbourne).
Loving Grandad of Matthew, Christopher, Dakota, Caitlin, James Alfred, Maddison, Frank Jnr, Stephanie (dec'd), Annaliese, Sophia, Molly, Frazer, Lily, Bradley, Emily, James Edward, Isabelle, Lucy and Jessica.
Brother-in-law to Peter and Lesleigh Ryan, Ted Ryan, Maureen Ryan, Jeanette Ryan and fond uncle of Zoe Ryan and Chris Waldron.
Robert was a proud member of 2nd Battalion Royal Australian Regiment

Soldier your duty is done and may you now rest in eternal peace.
A service will be held at Alan Harris McDonald, 76 Copland Street, Wagga Wagga, on Friday 8th July commencing at 11:00am. Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend.
In Lieu of flowers, donations on behalf of Calvary Palliative Care, will be accepted at the Chapel.

The brothers of the late Robert (Bob) McKeown OAM, Daniel, Barry, Geoff, Jim and John express their condolences to his children Tracey, Jamie, Peta-Jane and Yvonne and their families on the loss of their father.
This sympathy is also extended to Dorothy McKeown, Roberts first wife, and the the mother of the above children.
