I knew Bob for the last six years as a curler at Crestwood and he was my skip for two seasons. I found him to be a real gentleman and well respected by all the players.
I believe he had a life "well lived".
My sympathy to all his family.

Dear Dorothy, Brad, Val and families- It was with such sadness that Ron and I learned of Bob's passing. We all have such fond memories of Bob and especially his great sense of humor. We know how difficult it is to lose such a beloved one. We also know that things are going to be difficult for a while.. But eventually the sun peeps out from the behind the cloud, and the tears will turn into smiles as all the wonderful memories come back. The more you talk about happy times and share stories together, the more you will feel that he is still there with you and it will get better. Honest. I know Norm was there to meet him at the gates to show him around, and the next few days in heaven will be filled with love and laughter and a LOT of stories. Take care and God Bless.
