Robert Metcalf Obituary
Robert proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, where he earned numerous medals of service in recognition of his commitment and valor. His military career was a defining chapter of his life and reflected his deep sense of duty and patriotism.
He was the beloved father of three children: Robert Metcalf Jr., Robyn Duterte and Jennifer Santos. He also leaves behind five grandchildren and numerous stepchildren who were part of his extended family. His legacy continues through them and the many lives he touched over the years.
Robert was predeceased by his parents, Calvin and Doris Metcalf; his brother Calvin Metcalf; and wife Virginia Metcalf.
A man of quiet strength and enduring values, Robert will be remembered with respect and affection by those who knew him. He dedicated much of his time to cancer survivors and veterans in his town of Millinocket. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
