Robert Millard Obituary
Born June 30, 1931 in Anacortes, WA to Fred H & Martha Mae Millard, passed June 7, 2018 after a brief illness. Bob was raised in Anacortes, and moved to Ballard in 1943. He graduated from Ballard HS in 1949 where he played baseball and basketball.
In 1952 he married high school sweetheart, Donna Petrie. They lived in Ballard until 1968, raising 3 children. Bob was a machinist at American Can Co and played fast pitch softball in his free time for sponsor Federal Old Line Ins Co. He was a member of the Seattle Chapter of the Fast Pitch Softball Hall of Fame.
Moving to Edmonds in 1968, Bob finished his career as a plumber for the City of Seattle. He spent his retirement years traveling and RV'ing with friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by children Bryan, Lori, and Kris; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A private Celebration of Life
will be held June 30.
