It's only been 6 years since we said goodbye to our "cookie monster" friend. You just can't say enough about what a great human being he was while here on earth. The streets of Van Buren point and Bay still miss his "exercise" walks and his always smiling face. God bless my friend.

I can't believe it will be 5 years since are great friend passed away. I hope that in this time you have had many "Totties" with my mom. I remember singing "stairway to heaven" (not very well) in my basement on many a night while having a few beverages. Sweet times with a special friend.

Very saddened to hear the news of "Bo's" passing. I have read many here describe him as a gentle giant...I have to say that is the best way for me to also describe him. I met Bo as a kid visiting my dad at work (Bearings Inc)...I loved visiting that place. So many great friends of my father there and especially Bo. He would always have a smile, a kind word...ask how you were doing. He always made me laugh and I would rarely leave without requesting his impersonation of cars flying by on Kennywood Blvd (he would throw a big rig in there every once in a while!). I remember him teaching me the phonetic alphabet...he wrote it down on a piece of paper for me. I kept that piece of paper for years and learned it after much practice. When I would show up at BI he would challenge me by calling out random letters asking in return their phonetic counterpart! Rest in Peace Bo!

We met Bobby thru Charlie & Jane Feightner. We always enjoyed seeing him at Van Buren Point/Bay. He was always so friendly & sweet to talk to when we were visiting. He always had a smile and something funny to talk about. Our deepest sympathy to his family and may he rest in peace. Tom, Patty, Caitlin & Carly Shean

Over the years Bobby had many "AKA's". Uncle Bob, cookie monster, Igor (or egor) and most importantly cherished friend.
We will certainly miss his smiling face around the point and bay but at least he has left us with fantastic memories.
When God finished creating Bobby he probably sat back and said "Solid Gold" I created a winner.
God bless you my cherished friend and may God bless and watch over your family and friends.

Uncle Bob, my godfather, was such a blessing in my life. Not a Birthday, Christmas, Or anniversary went by without a thoughtful card received and a loving message inside. He gave everything he could freely without asking for anything in return, except maybe a few pictures of the ones he loved. I will always lovingly remember his frequent visits, his comic relief, our lunch dates to Wendy's, his laughter, and his smile. When I spoke to him last week on the phone, I felt compelled to tell him what an incredible influence he had on my life, how much I appreciated him, and that I loved him dearly. Thank you God for giving us that last conversation to remember and for choosing such a special, humble, loving person to be my godfather. ❤
