Robert MILLER Obituary
Robert J. Miller passed away peacefully December 22, 2017 at Whitecliff Care Home in White Rock, BC at the age of 95.
Robert was born near Estevan, Saskatchewan in 1922 to parents, Joseph and Clara Miller. The third of eight children, he worked on the family farm by day and enjoyed playing the accordion with his dance band in the evenings.
Marrying Elaine Wilkinson in 1947, the couple moved west to Richmond, BC (then Lulu Island) to build their home and start a family.
A self-made man, Robert founded Bobell Trucking Ltd., which he helped grow to employ hundreds over a successful sixty- year span. Beloved by friends, family and employees alike, Robert's generosity, humour and kind spirit will be truly missed.
Predeceased by first wife, Elaine (1977), and second wife, Lynn (2017), Robert is survived by his three sons, Barry (Ruth), Bruce (Crystal), and Blair (Barb), as well as nine grandchildren, Trevor (Shaleen), Teanna (Scott), Hayley, Holden, Shaun (Elena), Colby (Beth), Rob, Rachel (Neil) and Rebecca (Stephen) and eight great- grandchildren.

A celebration of life will occur early in 2018.
