Dear Marjorie, Nita, Bess and family:
I am so sad to hear of Bob's passing. I remember him fondly from Matbert reunions at Junaluska. Mom loved visiting with ya'll and all her cousins! Please know that I have you in my prayers as you walk this path of grief!

Another family historian is gone, you could say Robert Milling and Tom Anderson knew where all the bodies were buried and now they have both left us within days of each other and will be greatly missed. May God give peace and comfort to Marjorie and the family.

Cousin Bobby was so kind, intelligent, erudite, and a font of Milling history. We are lucky to have known and loved him as our cousin. He will live on in our memories.

Dr. Milling was my father Dave Milling's favourite cousin and spent many summers as children playing around the farm in Greenwood. As adults they remained firm friends and whenever I saw them together at family events the bond they had was obvious. Although I personally spoke with him very few times it was easy for me to see why my father regarded him so highly.
RIP, J.A. Milling III

Dr.Milling was indeed a man for all seasons. He was probably the most compassionate man that I know. It has been a long time since seeing him but I will never forget his compassion and Christ like love that got me through a terrible time in my life. Enjoy heaven Dr.Milling.

There are no words to express how very special this man was to my family and I. He will truly be missed but I know he is in heaven with Daddy and they are enjoying reuniting with each other. Instead of one guardian angel watching over me I feel as if now I have 2. He was truly a blessing to me and to so many people.
