MILNE, Robert William
Robert died peacefully the morning of Sunday, January 1, 2017. During his life, Bob worked over 30 years with Sasktel and was a beloved brother, father, and grandfather, as well as an avid reader, camper and world traveler with a keen interest in world events. Robert was born in Nut Lake, SK on December 8, 1927 to parents James and Florence Milne. He is survived by his children Katherine Arbuthnott (Dennis), Ron Milne and David Milne (Shelley); seven grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; and siblings Ruth Forrester, Dick Milne, Don Milne (Sylvia) and Alice Rodenberg (Wilf). Bob was predeceased by his first wife Irene (Seaborn); second wife Laurine (Avanzino); brother Alex Milne; sisters-in-law Myrtle and Thelma; and brother-in-law George Forrester. Thanks to the staff and residents of Broadway Terrace for providing a great community during the last years of his life and to the staff of Harvest Haven for providing excellent care during his final weeks. A CELEBRATION OF BOB'S LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
