Mr Moody was Loved very much by the Smith family (Vanessa Katrina Chanta Cemellia and LaTrevette)the Smith Girls

I remember Mr Moody when he came In Shoprite when I worked there. He was a very nice , kind person. He did also share some recipes with me that I still have today. He will be truly missed.

So sorry ladies a very nice person you couldn't ask for a better person surly gonna miss him

He saw the best in us
When everyone else saw the worse

He was ours
And we were his
It didn't matter what we did
He seen us for who we were

God gave Mr. Moody an awesome sense of vision
To see beyond what everyone else saw in us
That's what made his classes so special

When everyone else was nothing in us
Mr. Moody saw doctors, lawyer, preachers, teachers,
He saw us at our best
When all others could only see us at our worst

That's why we were his
It didn't matter what we did
He saw us beyond who we were

He taught from the heart
And not for a tag, title , tenure, or position

Taught us about life
About always striving to be the best we could be
Taught us the importance of education
Never stop learning
Learning something new everyday
Never settle for less
Always strive to be the best

Life lessons you never forget
How do you thank someone who imparted such wisdom ?

You thank them by letting them know you appreciate them, you cherish them,
You love them

The true measure of a life is not how long you live
But the people you touch along the way

The people Mr. Moody touched on his journey is to many to number
The wisdom he shared with us was priceless
The love he gave to his students boundless
The legacy he leave behind priceless

Every time we meant
Whether it was down by the river
Or at the dollar store
I always ended our conversation the same way and with these words
I love ya man.

As it was then
So it is now
I will end this tribute with those same words

Mr. Moody will be truly missed I thought of him as my father all those years listening to wisdom and knowledge I'm going to miss sending him birthday cards and Christmas cards I loved him very much God bless

I will always remember watching Mr. Moody (and his old dog Thore) with big bags of fish after a day of fishing and showing us neighborhood kids how to clean them back in the day. Now I hope he's fishing in heaven with Thore and the Lord by his side.
