Julie and Doug, my condolences to you and your families. Bob was always a fun person to be around and made family gatherings memorable. We used to talk a lot about the Sunshine Coast and his times up there. I will always remember Bob with fond memories. Cousins Forever was our saying to each other after Joan passed.

I worked with Bob on several committees related to celebrating the Kitsilano High School graduating class of 1954. Bob gave freely of his time and energy to make our annual lunches and our 60th reunion a success. I admired his good humor and his sincerity as we worked together on these occasions. Bob was a good guy and I will miss him.

Bob was one of the kindest, most generous people I have ever known and we will all miss him greatly. He brought so much happiness to my mom's life in the past 11 years, and I shall forever be grateful to him for that, not to mention many other things, such as allowing me the opportunity to get back up on water-skis after about a 25-year hiatus! And teaching me the wonders of Walla Walla onions! So many wonderful memories. Thank you, Bob, for everything xoxox

Julie and Douglas, my heart goes out to you. Your dad was a great neighbour, a kind man and a wonderful community builder. I have such warm memories of your family (and Mr Jiggs!).
