Y'all were the best neighbors anyone could ask for. I remember like it was yesterday meeting y'all and Cindy for the first time, looking at constellations with Brian, remembering Tommy watching Winnie the Pooh over and over, watching Bobby teach Randy how to back the car out of the driveway for the first time.

God bless you all.

Bobby was one of those persons who truly personified bigger than life. Truly a Renaissance Man. Gifted and talented in so many ways and had an infectious giggle that will be sorely missed.

Caught the biggest Striper Bass in my lifetime, on his boat. -RIP Bobby Mudd

To all those that think of me,
Be happy as I go out to sea.
If others wonder why I'm missin'
Just tell 'em I've gone fishin'

Blair, you two had been together for forever. Bobby was always such a kind soul and happy person and, as Nene said, he could really rock a Speedo! My prayers are with you from South Carolina.

Prayers to your family. I really enjoyed working with Bob at Circuit City. He was always busy and super proud of his kids and grand children.

Bobby was one of those rare people who everyone wanted to be around - - a man of many attributes, above all gracious, always welcoming, an examplar to young and old alike. If I could have chosen anyone on this good earth to be a brother, it would have been someone just like Bobby. I feel blessed that one of his sons married my daughter, a union that introduced many of us fortunate others to the larger Mudd Family that has graced the community at large.

My heart goes out to Bobby’s wife Blair, to his three sons Randy, Tommy and Brian, and to all members of the extended Mudd family at this time of loss. God Bless them all.

I have known Bobby and Blair since our days at John Marshall High School. Some years later, I had the good fortune to reconnect with them as our boys played football together at Godwin High School. As is too often the case, we lost contact again. I will always remember Bobby as a most genuine individual person - kind, sincere, caring, loving of family and life. Bobby had an expression, a smile, a look in his eye, that immediately made a stranger a friend. Bobby was the type of person we all hope to be.
Deepest condolences to Blair, his sons and grandchildren.

I grew up with Bobby and his older brother,Dickie, who is my age. Like Frank Leonard, my family lived on Avondale, and we played weekend football and baseball pick-up games in the vacant lot next to the Mudd home on laburnum. Those were great times, and though I was closer to Dickie than Bobby, I still think of them as among my best boyhood friends growing up in Gunter Park. My my sincere condolences to the Mudd family, and especially to Blair, their children and grandchildren. May the Lord continue to hold all of you in his gracious and loving hands.

I knew Bobby when were just kids in Ginter Park. He and his family lived on Laburnam Ave and my family and I lived behind them on Avondale Ave. We enjoyed playing football on the empty lot beside Bobby’s house. I remember he and his family well although I do not think we have seen each other since my family moved to western Henrico County in about 1958. After college I moved all over the SE working for Ford Motor Co and now live in Raleigh, NC. RIP, Bobby.

Between My my dad, Dicky, and Bobby, they taught me how to fish. Bobby was the one that taught me patience while fishing. Irby, stop pulling up the the line you will know when there is a fish on. The longer the bait is in the water gives the fish a time to find it. I can still here his voice saying this. Tommy can do his voice really good too. I wish I had seen him more. You have a place in my heart. Thank you for being a part of my life.

Blair and family - In the 20+ years that we had the privilege of knowing Bobby, he was always the same ... high energy and with either a great tale about something (Anything) or a story about something one or many of his grandchildren had done! Mathews has gotten a lot more quiet and boring without Bobby. Our love to you all, both now and for the days, weeks and months ahead. (I thought this photo of Bobby and Wayne was wonderful).

Bobby has been in our lives for as long as I can remember. In Mathews, Bobby hung out with my Brother Wayne a lot. They were neighbors and great fishing buddies, and enjoyed many good times together. Now they can swap fishing stories with St. Peter an The Good Lord. I kind of thought of Bobby as another Brother. He will be missed. Our prayers go out to Blair and the family.
