Robert G. Mullen

1931-2016 Robert G. (Bob) Mullen, age 84, of Yeadon, passed away on February 19, 2016 from injuries sustained after being hit by a car. Bob was a graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and went on to receive a master’s degree from Temple University. He also served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Bob worked for Honeywell as a computer programmer for many years. After retiring from the computer world, Bob, or “Mr. Bob”, as he was called by the kids drove a school bus. Bob loved all animals and gave generously to multiple animal charities. In addition to his wife of fifty six years, Alice Mullen (nee Hunsinger), he is survived by two daughters, Kim Hunsinger and Joan DiIenno (Bill), three grandchildren, Damian, Mandy and Becky and grand-fur-babies, Connor, Cassie, Fang and Nibbles. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial visitation on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 7pm to 9pm at Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood, Pa. 19074.
