Vera and Brian, our deepest heartfelt condolences are with you at this time.
I will always remember Robert's go-carts, his bow and arrows, and the great apple tree and fort, you let us raid and play in when we were kids. Great memories, he will be sadly missed, you are always in our hearts and prayers,
Jim and Tracey MacPherson & sons Joshua and Jared.

I have not talked to Robert for several years but that does not take away from all the fun and cherished times we spent together growing up. The world is a better place with people like Robert roaming it and passing on his quirky sense of humour. Rest in peace Robert and to his surrounding family, take care.

I had just spoken to Robert not 2 weeks ago about the excellent video presentations he had created concerning the Essex Railway Station and also the Essex Explosion. His committment on projects while an Essex Kinsmen during the time I was club President was second to none - his ideas were intelligent, detailed, and always promoted with his full positive energies. Robert never thought about his own importance ... but always what would be good for others to increase their knowledge, self-worth, and their community value. His self-admitted quirkiness for developing 'contraptions' that actually worked never ceased to amaze me. I will remember him with fondness and respect ... and I salute the courage he had to fight for so long against the health problems he faced. God grant him rest; and his family inner peace at this difficult time.
